The local name for this is Kachnar. in some parts of India it is considered special with its lead called Sone patta, or the golden leaf being given to each other on the day of Dushehra. This plant also has medical properties and is useful for thyroid conditions.
Handmade painting inspired by my garden. About 6.5 by 9 inches, painted with water soluble pigments.
