Botanical illustrations are best made using original specimens as reference. Using a photograph is only second best. Last year during the first covid lockdown, I was stuck at my parent’s place. Luckily the garden was a treasure trove for plant references. Painted this on an elephant dung acid free paper notebook.
This is most probably Jasminum Sambac. Has a heavenly fragrance.
The individual sheet from the notebook will be shipped without framing.
