This is a small plane entirely made of rosewood. The blade is early generation stainless steel almost similar to carbon steel with regards to ease of sharpening and edge retention. This seems to be bench made by a craftsman for their personal use. Whole rosewood planes are rare and hence a collector’s item. It will be shipped sharp and ready to use.
