Playing with Orange – Creative Garden

This is from one of my recent experiments with color. This is from the series of Orange. The second last of the Vibgyor colors.

The base of the vertical painting is kept heavy to root the painting. This bright orange splash of color can enliven any room.

I have envisioned a valley just beneath a high cliff. The inspiration is raining and the fertile ground is teeming with ideas.

Size of the painting is 7.5 by 17.5 inches. It is done on old paper with water color. I love working with old paper as it interacts with water in a very intersting way.
