The maker’s mark on this blade has a jumping deer. The blade has uniform thickness apart from the edge. About 1 mm thick, the blade is slightly flexible. The blade runs along the whole length of the knife, and has five brass pins for the handle. This would be great for cutting pumpkins, huge watermelons etc. While being long it is not very heavy, so can be used for regular potato/onion chopping etc as well. The edge is curved so can be used on a chopping block with a see saw motion.
The bevel on this knife is symmetrical. This means that both sides of the edge are alike. This means that this can be used by both right handed and left handed folks.
