Kiki & Bouba (set of two paintings)

1100

Out of stock

The title of this set of two drawings, Bouba/Kiki is named after a scientific experiment documented by Wolfgang Kohler in 1929.

The original experiment had slightly different shapes, more basic, but similar to these two. When large number of people were asked this same question there was a majority of people identifying one with Bouba/Kiki instead of a 50% dispersion.

These two are my attempt for the skeptics of abstract art. Even abstract art has patterns which influence our subconscious.

Watercolor with Ink. 15 by 21 cm. Set of two unframed paintings.
