Description

This is a hand painted water colors by myself. The right hand of Ganesha is holding the Ankush, the tool that is used to control elephants and the other right hand is in Abhaya mudra. The left hands are holding the rosary and in varada mudra.

The size of this painting is 6.25 by 6.25 inches. I have purposely kept it a square composition as muladhara is also represented by a square.

Lam is the mantra for the muladhara. The color for muladhara is red. It is shown as either a red square or a yellow square. Even if we consider yellow for the manipura still there is a strong connection between the manipura and the muladhara. In my experience intense muladhara sadhna is only possible with a full and content stomach. This might be the reason behind Ganesha fondness for gluttony.

The mantra lam ends like aum. But since the first syllable is momentary, one gets sufficient breath for the mmmm…sound. in Aum the vibration starts up and goes all the way down in one continum.  So that way I guess it does one third the benefit of Aum for almost three times the time, but specifically for one chakra.
