I haven’t figured out why I prefer a beveled chisel over a normal one. But I do. This was one was missing a handle. I choose a plump round handle which is fine both for direct hand use and with a wooden mallet. Since it is very curvy even a steel hammer won’t dent it much but I would not recommend it. This comes sharpened.
The width of the chisel is 1 & 1/4 of an inch.
