Minimal Flower Arrangement Yellow Cassia Fistula Beaten Brass Vase handmade watercolor painting

Description

This composition is inspired by the minimalist flower arrangement popular in Japan. I have used a beaten brass vase for the container, for the Indian touch. Just one stalk of golden shower / Cassia Fistula with its iconic yellow flowers and the black seed pod complete the arrangement. This flower is sacred to Lord Vishnu. Appearance of this flower coincides with the festival of Vishu/Bihu celebrated in India.

The painting is handmade watercolor. I have kept the background blank to highlight the subject. You can choose to get only the painting or with framing. I make the frames myself with handmade tools, and joinery at the corners. The size of the painting is 7.5 x 18 inches. The size of the frame is about 11 x 22 inches.
