Meditating on Red – 006

Description

This is from one of my recent experiments with color. This is from the series of Red. I am starting from the last of the Vibgyor colors.

The base of the vertical painting is kept heavy to root the painting. This bright red and black can enliven any room.

Size of the painting is 7.5 by 17.5 inches. It is done on old paper with water color. I love working with old paper, as it interacts with water in a very interesting way.

you have the option of getting the framed version. I make my own frames with wood joinery (zero nails).
