Brahmanda, Cosmic Egg, water and fire

Description

The Cosmic Egg or the Brahmanda as we call it, is a topic I am fascinated with. I find it very interesting to showcase the entire universe within the boundaries of an oblong egg. Where multiple volumes of thick books won’t do, an egg is enough.

This is my first time trying this on a big format. This is done on handmade paper with water colors. The size of the painting is 15 by 21 inches. It is unframed and will be shipped rolled inside a tube.
