A Eulogy

He was a great pair. He had been my companion since last 6 months, enduring my stumbles, and trodding with me through sand and rains. And he had a great potential career in front of him. He could have travelled through the country with me, maybe even climb the everest, who knows. He was the only one who could withstand my bullet’s kick. But destiny, the one with the hard heart had something else in store for him. He was to be torn apart by a rabid dog. A dog foaming at its mouth, would tear him, to pieces, foam to foam, rubber to rubber.

My pair of uplander shoes has died. May you rest happily in shoe paradise.

  1. my deepest sympathies with you my friend.

While I can understand the strong sentiments towards the dog considering your loss, you must understand the innocence of the creature. All he’s known his entire life is chasing bikers, try and get a grip on their shoes/ jeans. How does the poor guy know what to do with one if he sees one sitting on the ground?

I pray for the brave sole.
